Why Control Cockroaches
Put frankly they are nasty, we don't want them anywhere in or around the house.
Cockroaches can transmit diseases like dysentery, salmonella, and diarrhea. Cockroaches can also get into electrical equipment like radios and televisions and cause them to short circuit. The most common cockroaches that are found in New Zealand are the Gisborne Cockroach, American Cockroach and the German Cockroach. They live in damp places, such as sewers, cellars and bark gardens. They will come into your home if there is food available for them to eat. The German Cockroach prefers sweet foods like sugar, syrup, and chocolate but they will also eat almost anything else including dead animals, hair, skin flakes, and other insects. These are just a few of the reasons why cockroaches should not be allowed to live in your home or business.
The need for Cockroach control
Cockroaches bring disease to humans which can be very dangerous if not treated promptly by a doctor or health care professional. If you have kids it is very important to get these pests out of your house.
